Summer is a time for sitting on the beach, wearing flowy maxi dresses and sporting the latest bright orange and pink nail polish shades on my pedicured toenails. But my favorite pastime? Sipping cocktails at rooftop bars. There's just nothing like enjoying a cosmopolitan or a crisp glass of wine while looking at the gorgeous New York City skyline and taking in some fresh air ... okay, smoggy NYC air, but still. So it seems only fitting that beauty companies are getting in on the act with products inspired by delicious confections like margaritas, sangria and of course the ever-important cosmopolitan! Read on to discover some of the greats.
Philosophy The Cocktail Party ($30): I'm a huge fan of the 3-in-1s, so of course this boxed set of three deliciously scented bottles must find its way into my collection! Senorita Margarita, Mimosa and Melon Daiquiri will keep my shower time fun all summer long.
Ooohlala of Beverly Hills Cocktail Hour Foaming Bath ($16.58): Notes of black currant and Belgian rose make for a truly sensuous bathtime experience. There's no need for an actual cocktail in the bath when this bottle finds its way into the tub!
Not Soap, Radio Cocktail Party Lip Gloss ($10 each): Pina colada. Margarita. Pink champagne. Cosmopolitan. All great drinks -- and they're great lipglosses, too! From pink to mulberry, the shades are gorgeous -- and so cheap, you can get all four without buyer's remorse!
me! bath Bath Ice Cream in Mint Mojito ($8): A mixture of mint, sugar, lime and the oh-so-important rum combine to create a delectably scented treat that fizzes and pops so satisfyingly in the bath.
LORAC Mocktail ($18 each): Ten deliciously colored glosses in shades like Maui Mai Tai (shiny pink), Razberi Cosmo (deep rose), Sex On The Beach (bright fuchsia) and Tequila Sunrise (glittery tangerine) will totally perk up my summer wardrobe.
Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush Body Double Mist in Appletini ($12): Sweet but not cloying, sexy but not sensual, this fragrance not only makes you smell fantastic but leaves your skin baby soft!
Essie Nail Polish in Imported Champagne ($8): This pinky golden beige will make your tips sparkle and glisten without appearing too overbearing.

Love Me Bath's bombs. And sitting here on my desk is Lush's Honey Bee one. I just wish they made ones that were made for more than one use.
What a creative and fabulous post!
The Appletini Body Mist and Mocktail lip gloss are on my must try list.
cybele -- I totally agree. Lush bath bombs are the best -- it's just too bad they're gone in one sitting!
