Is it possible for this week to get any better? I really, honestly and truly don't think so. My week was made today, as you'll read about momentarily. And to think, it's only Tuesday!
1) I spent some time with the amazingly wonderful Ted Gibson today. Now, I'm really hoping all of you know who he is. If not, check out the tresses of Angelina Jolie, Anne Hathaway, Gabrielle Union or a mass of other celebrities -- because he coifs them all. And today, I got the chance to interview him! Better yet, he remembered me from our first meeting at the Harper's Bazaar offices over six years ago, when he was first launching the Bandostick and was in the process of opening his salon. Stay tuned for the full interview, coming up in a very special First Look Fridays column in a few weeks time. For now, you can enjoy the picture of him and me at left. (I certainly will be!)
2) I attended a very special breakfast this morning hosted by Kiehl's. They invited a select group of beauty bloggers to a pretty gorgeous apartment-style space to talk about their new products, including a line of haircare and some seriously fab items for holiday -- like a kit for guys designed by fashion designer Derek Lam! And best of all? Stylist Robert Verdi was there!
3) Caught up with the wonderful Nancy from beauty411 at the Total Beauty Suite over my lunch hour. I hadn't seen her since the Summit this past May, so I loved hearing about how she's been doing since then. (And I loved her fabulous black-and-white-print coat!)
