The Best of Beauty: July 2008

Over the past year, The Beauty of Life has seen and done it all. From manicures to facials, testing scrubs to going behind the scenes at New York Fashion Week, it's been quite a ride! Check back every day for the next 12 days to revisit the hits of the year.

Get the best of July after the jump!

I'm always on the lookout for new and interesting soaps. But the one I keep coming back to time and time again? Bath & Body Works Gentle Foaming Hand Soap. It cleanses, it foams, it moisturizes ... what else could you ask for?

Finding a good at-home hair glaze is like searching for a needle in a haystack. But I hit the jackpot when I discovered Frederic Fekkai Salon Glaze. This stuff makes your hair look as good as if you got a professional glaze at the salon -- and it lasts for days before you have to reapply!

The best cleanser I've ever come across? It's not what you might think. It's none other than Pond's Cold Cream! I've been using this literally since I started performing in plays at the age of four, and I've never stopped. It's a lifesaver and a miracle worker all in one!

Looking for a way to make your legs shimmer, glisten and gleam? Then you simply must try Sephora's Beach Glow Melted Body Butter. I'm not lying when I say that I seriously can't stop checking out my legs every time I use it. Maybe that's vain, but hey -- I can't help it!

Diorshow Mascara. Smith's Rosebud Salve. Urban Decay Primer Potion. What do all of these products have in common? They're cult beauty products, of course! I brought you some of the greatest.

I pretty much love anything with honey, so when I came across Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Honey Drops Body Cream, it had to be mine. And wow, is it amazing! The little bits of honey really work to moisturize and condition even the roughest skin, and it smells absolutely divine.

I've been a fan of both Carrie Underwood and peach lipgloss for quite some time ... so of course I had to analyze the trend! Check out the lippies that will help you look just like Ms. Underwood.

I have something shameful to admit. I didn't use blush until July. Can you believe it? I just never thought it was a necessity ... until I discovered Benefit Posietint, that is. Now I just can't get enough!
