I'm thoroughly intrigued by pinkish purple nail polishes. I must have at least 20 in my stash! But Essie Demure Vixen, my choice for Mani of the Week, stands out amongst the rest. I love the iridescent shimmer, the mauve with touches of pastel pink and lilac, the absolute gorgeousness with which it rests upon my nails.The color actually looks a bit more pigmented and less shimmery on the nail, though in the right light the shimmer still peeks through. I decided to use two coats after breaking out my new bottle of Creative Nail Design Stickey Base Coat, and finished with my all-time favorite top coat, Seche Vite.

I love that color. It is so pretty. I have clear polish on my nails now. Last week I had purple tips, that was fun and funky :)
