Duty Calls: First Aid Beauty Eye Duty Triple Remedy Overnight Balm

I don't mind growing older. Seriously, I really don't. But a side effect of aging that I think could fall by the wayside? Wrinkles. I would be truly happy if I never had to see another wrinkle for the rest of my life. Thanks to First Aid Beauty Eye Duty Triple Remedy Overnight Balm, that dream is quickly becoming a reality.

Not only am I already completely obsessed with eye creams, but First Aid Beauty has long been my go-to skincare line. (Click here for reviews on all the products I've loved to date.) So when this one came into my life, I was definitely predisposed to love it. Well, I'm happy to report that my favorable bias toward all things First Aid Beauty has proven itself to be infallible once again!

The cream inside the First Aid Beauty Eye Duty tub. Look how whipped and lush it is!
For starters, just look how creamy it is. I wouldn't really classify this as a balm, since it's so rich and lush -- I'm going with a full-on cream. But it's definitely thicker than your typical eye cream, since it's meant to be worn overnight and continue to sink into the skin as you sleep. Also, unlike other balms, this one isn't greasy or sticky -- it really does have a creamy finish and texture.

This eye cream is so rich and lush, I can't resist dipping my finger into the tub each night.
As you sleep, Eye Duty works to firm, smooth and hydrate the entire orbital eye area. A powerful peptide blend smooths away fine lines and wrinkles, Niacinamide and Spilanthes Acmella Flower improve frmness and elasticity, and select butters and waxes nourish, soften and condition the skin. First Aid Beauty claims that it "cocoons the entire aye area like a mask" -- and I must say they hit the nail on the head with that description.

Even if I didn't have problems with fine lines and wrinkles, I would still want to use this eye cream -- because it just feels so amazing once it's applied! It has a slight cooling effect and really does make your eyes feel like you're wrapping them in a luxurious mask. I've definitely noticed a reduction in the fine lines and wrinkles around my eyes, and the skin feels more supple as well.

A cocoon is the perfect way to describe this eye cream, since when I wake up my eyes have been transformed -- much like a larva into a butterfly. I think I'm ready for my wings!

First Aid Beauty Eye Duty Triple Remedy Overnight Balm retails for $38 at sephora.com.

  3. I like FAB products a lot. I bought one of the other eye creams/gels in their line, but I think I will have to try this one. I love products with niacinamide.
