#ManiMonday: SinfulColors Karamel from the Professional SinfulShine King Kylie Collection

SinfulColors, SInfulColors King Kylie Collection, SinfulColors Karamel, SinfulColors Professional SinfulShine Collection, nails, nail polish, nail lacquer, nail varnish, manicure, #ManiMonday
So here's the thing. I am really, REALLY not a fan of the Kardashians. Like, to the point that whenever I see "news" about them (yes, I put news in quotes), my brain shuts off and I just don't process it. But I also am a fan of pretty nail polishes, so when I received the SinfulColors Professional SinfulShine King Kylie Collection, which was created with Kylie Jenner, I had to pause ... because the colors in this collection are STUNNING. Take, for example, SinfulColors Karamel, which you can see here.

Now, the fact that I'm totally in love with this shimmery, glimmery nude in no way means I've jumped aboard the Kardashian train. But come on, this color is so beautiful! It's the perfect nude polish, especially with the hint of yellow gold shimmer running throughout.

Two coats yielded absolutely perfect color -- opaque with no streaking, dragging or smudging. While this collection is meant to be used with a special SinfulColors top coat, I 1) didn't have that top coat and 2) have been obsessed with Essie Good To Go Top Coat as of late. (Stay tuned for a review on that miracle worker!) In any case, this is an undeniably flattering nude polish -- it's refined with just enough oomph to perk up an unlikely dreary Monday in LA.

So, while my distaste of the Kardashian empire continues, I've found a little love in my heart for this gorgeous polish. I'm definitely putting it into my permanent rotation!

SinfulColors Karamel retails for $2.99 at walgreens.com.

  6. I love neutrals with a hint of sparkle or shimmer - you can wear them to work, but there is also a little oomph.

  7. I need to go and see if I have this color in my collection. I think I skipped it because I have Prossecco and wasn't sure if it was the same. It's a gorgeous shade though.

  8. Yeah, I skipped all of the Sinful Kardashian polishes. Some of them are really nice, I love this one, but I just can't.

  9. Not a shade I'd traditionally pick, but sometimes that neutral shade is needed! :)
