Well, I figured after about a year and a half, it was time for my first-ever FOTD! I leave the absolutely amazing FOTDs to the lovely and talented Vanessa of Nessasary Makeup, but I decided to go for it anyway. Last week I had the pleasure of a dinner out with two of my lovely friends, Megan (who I've known for a whopping 18 years!) and the amazing Michelle of All Lacquered Up. We dined at the fabulous Hunan China Sea -- my family's all-time favorite restaurant -- so the look was nothing crazy, just a bit more than my usual moisturizer-mascara-and-lipgloss routine! Here's what I used:
EYES:
Sugar Cosmetics ColorStick in Grape Fizz (swept all over the eyelid)
M.A.C Eye Pencil in Coffee (drawn across the eyelid and at the upper and lower waterlines for a bit of extra smokiness)
Dior Diorshow Mascara in Black (two coats on the top lashes -- brushing from the top and bottom -- and one coat on the bottom lashes)
LIPS:
Lancome Color Fever Shine in Pixel Pink
Stila Lip Glaze in Starfruit
HAIR:
Untouched after getting another amazing haircut from the lovely and talented Jen G. at John Robert's!
And here are some photos of the finished look!

Love the look! You're gorgeous darling!
Super cute Jamie!
I love, LOVE my MAC eye pencil in Coffee too! I always have two at any given time ;)
Love Pixel Pink on you too! It looks different on you than me - maybe the Starfruit over it? In any case - love the sassy lip!!
Aww, thanks so much ladies! Lilan, I think it's the Starfruit layered over Pixel Pink that makes it look a bit more peachy. Left alone, Pixel Pink just gives the slightest hint of pink to my lips! What does it look like on yours?
Pixel Pink on my is a sheer pink with blue undertones - making it a cooler shade vs. warm.
I've never tried any Stila lippies - how do you like their glosses?
i love these pictures :)
Lilan -- that's so interesting re: Pixel Pink. I really love Stila Lip Glaze -- it's one of my favorite lipglosses. I think they tend to be very wearable on a lot of different skin tones and they're not too sticky or tacky. Plus they have good staying power, and I like the click pen. Nothing bad to say about them!
And Marina -- thanks so much! :)
Okay, I love you. You look too cute on those pictures.
Hey Jamie,
In just 1 FOTD, you've rocked 3 different looks. The usual happy infectious smile you spot, the girl next door coyness and the va va voom look complete with pouty lips. Love the pics
I'm a big fan of lippies. Love the color. Smooth and shiny and not goopy at all
Okay, you ladies are all making me blush! :) Thanks so much for the great comments!
So cute Jamie! Congrats on popping your FOTD cherry ;) Now quit teasing us, and GIVE US MORE!!!! Heh.
Hope you have a great weekend hun!
