Trend-Spotting: Tap Pants

I'm in a girly state of mind this week, so I was delighted to discover that tap pants have become one of the season's hottest trends. As the name may imply, tap pants originated from tap dancers who wore them while practicing their routines. And while they often fall into the same silhouette family as running shorts, they're definitely much sexier (just see the Only Hearts Last Rose of Summer Tap Pants, $52 at revolveclothing.com, above for proof).
