I realized recently that I own a ton of butter LONDON nail polish, but rarely have the opportunity to swatch or wear it! So, in the next week or so, I'll be bringing you a host of swatches from the British brand. Up first, three gorgeous brights that are perfect for warm summer days.
Macbeth is described as a bright coral, but I think it looks more bright fuchsia. In any case, it's glossy, it applies like a dream and is completely opaque in two coats.
Jaffa photographs a bit more on the pink side, but in person it's almost neon orange. Equally as perfect for fingers as for toes, and, like Jaffa, applies smoothly and easily in two coats.
Slapper is one of my favorite colors of late. This bold, bright teal is glossy and creamy, and so gorgeous it's pretty tough not to fall in love.
My one tip for butter LONDON wearers -- wear them with at least the brand's Nail Foundation Flawless Base Coat, if not also the Hardwear P.D. Quick Topcoat. It just helps the polish to stay better than other brands' base coats and topcoats, much as I love my CND Stickey and Seche Vite!
butter LONDON nail polishes retail for $14 each at beauty.com.
