Oh, how I love a good play on words. And when it's combined with a beauty product that just makes my life better? Yeah, that's a total win. Enter First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair BarriAIR Cream.

I have to admit, sometimes I feel like a broken record talking about how much I love First Aid Beauty. I've documented quite the love affair with them over the years, all of which you can check out here. All of their products are great for sensitive skin, which I've always had, but have been suffering from even more recently thanks to a bout of hives lasting over three months (yeah, super fun times). So, while I'm trying to figure out what in the heck is actually going on with my skin and my body, I've been reaching even more frequently for products and brands I trust -- and First Aid Beauty consistently rises to the top.

This moisturizer is unique to any other one I've ever tried. Yes, I know that's a broad statement. Yes, I stand by it! I've never tried or used another moisturizer that has a light, airy, whipped, cloud-like texture -- it stands apart from other moisturizers for that reason alone. It's really just a bonus for me that it happens to make my skin look and feel as excellent as it does.

Ultra Repair BarriAIR Cream contains a host of ingredients that lend themselves to this unique texture, including:

Lipids: These work to bio-mimic the natural composition of the skin barrier, fortify it and maintain its healthy state.

Triple-Weight Hyaluronic Acid: We've all been hearing about how incredible Hyaluronic Acid is for your skin -- and every single solitary word you hear about it is true. This powerful humectant works to replenish moisture (AKA hydrate the skin) and banish fine lines and wrinkles (AKA help you look and feel a little more youthful).

Colloidal Oatmeal: This is actually an ingredient I've become much more familiar with in recent months, thanks to the aforementioned hives. You haven't really lived until you've sat in a bath of colloidal oatmeal trying not to scratch your itchy skin clear off. (Yeah, I know that sounds overdramatic, but it's actually completely accurate.) In any case, colloidal oatmeal helps to calm, soothe and condition the skin. AKA it's a miracle worker.

I absolutely love the whipped, cloud-like texture of this First Aid Beauty moisturizer.

What does all this mean? Oh, just that this moisturizer not only looks incredibly cool, but feels just as cool on the skin -- and that your skin is left feeling super soft and hydrated. I've been using about a quarter-sized amount every morning, which I gently pat into my face. The innovative texture feels light, whipped and foamy while it's applied, but immediately sinks into the skin so all that's left is a visage so soft, you'll actually let out squeals of joy. (Okay, at least you will if you're me.)

I honestly can't say enough good things about this moisturizer. It's kept my skin so hydrated, I don't even need to apply moisturizer every day, which has basically been unheard of since I moved to Los Angeles three years ago. The climate is always so dry that I feel like no matter how heavy or thick my moisturizer is, my skin is fighting to be hydrated -- not so anymore!
