What to Do in LA: Get Steamy Desserts and Drinks at Better Than Sex!

Where drinks and dessert are concerned, there's one very important thing to keep in mind. The more fun the experience, the better! And in the case of Better Than Sex, they most certainly deliver!

This restaurant has a one track mind in the absolute best — and steamiest! — way. During my mom's recent visit to LA, we simply had to go and check out the sexiest restaurant in town.

From the moment we arrived, our experience couldn't have been more enjoyable. Our waiter was funny, charming, and even brought us a special treat with our starter shots to welcome us in sexy style. It really set the tone for a fun evening!

My mom and I were dying over the names of all the desserts and drinks. Think names like The Klimax, Sex Appeal, Super Soaker, Peanut Butter Perversion, Caress My Carrot ... the sexy list goes on!

It was definitely tough — or should I say hard? — to choose what we wanted, because everything sounded utterly delectable! Ultimately, we went for:

Love Potion 69 Shots: A blend of almond-infused vodka, vanilla bean and honey, and topped with whipped cream

Just a Gigolo: A martini with Grey Goose vodka, Hpnotiq, blue raspberry and orange juice, and rimmed with edible rainbow glitter flakes

Man Candy: Strawberry ale in a white and dark chocolate rimmed beer glass (I forgot to take a pic of this one, how dare I!)

Missionary Crisp: Red Delicious apples, salted graham cracker crumble and vanilla bean balls

Fever: Chocolate cake with chocolate pudding and vanilla bean balls

As you can see, we definitely went all out!

The ambiance is also quite cool. It's dimly lit throughout, with banquettes and sexy photos on the walls. I loved the tin ceiling and the way the menus were presented on individual tablets!
