Ouch! I Burned Myself with My Flat Iron.

flat iron, T3, T3 flat iron, T3 ManeTamer Unruly Hair StraightenerI'm assuming most of us have been there. We're going along, minding our own business, running our flat iron down our tresses ... and then BAM. All of a sudden we burn ourselves. Maybe it's a quick hit against our forehead, maybe it's a quick clip of the ear. But all of a sudden, pain ensues and a red welt appears. (And, in my case a couple years ago, a millisecond-long clamp of my flat iron over my hand resulted in a 2nd-degree burn and an unsightly long scar.)

Why am I telling you this? Oh, no reason ... just because I (ouch!) burned my ear this morning with the flat iron. I was in a rush, not paying attention, and clip! I'm hoping it won't be too terrible, but any healing remedies would be much appreciated! Let me know your thoughts in the comments.

  1. Neosporin and Coconut oil! I burnt my shoulder with a curling iron and still have a scar because I didn't do anything about it. It looks so dumb.

  2. Ditto on the Neosporin - use the one with pain relief. I've burned my ear once, my fingers several times. Klutz!

What happened to your pimple that didn't go away?
