I am a firm believer in buying multiples of clothing staples. When I find something that works, I'll buy it in every color. Such is the case, recently, with the cutout shoulder. I've discovered that, while short sleeves or sleeveless tops can call attention to less-than-perfect upper arms, the cutout shoulder always makes that particular part of the body look unbelievably super slim. It stands to reason, then, that I would stock my closet with the stuff! (At last count I had four cutout shoulder tops and dresses, but I'll soon be adding more.) Check out some of my favorites after the jump.
