What's In My Makeup Bag: My Henri Bendel CFDA Cosmetic Roll, That Is!

There are a few things that always make me think of New York. Seeing the Empire State Building lit up at night. Driving down the FDR and seeing the skyline. And the signature brown and white stripe of Henri Bendel. So when I was asked to participate in a What's In My Makeup Bag roundup featuring the Henri Bendel CFDA Cosmetic Roll, I simply jumped at the opportunity.

I love the brown and white stripes of the cosmetic bag, of course. But I'm also dying over the brilliant blue piping and the zipper pull, which features a colorblocked blue target design. Check out what's been in my makeup bag as of late!

Stella McCartney Stella Eau de Parfum Spray: My very favorite perfume -- the one that makes every single person in the world stop and tell me how good I smell. Plus I love the cut glass purple bottle!

Supergoop! SPF 30+ Everyday Lotion: The tiny tube is perfect for last-minute SPF touchups and totally saved me on my recent trip to Grand Cayman!

CND Stickey Base Coat: The only base coat I'll use. It makes polish adhere to nails for days longer than any other I've tried, and it protects nails from turning orange or yellow no matter what color you paint on top!

Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat: I simply can't praise this top coat highly enough. It makes polish look super shiny even after two weeks, plus it prevents chipping better than any other top coat I've ever tried.

La Mer The Eye Concentrate: My favorite eye cream in the world, in a convenient travel-sized sample tub! Perfect for all my work trips.

Givenchy Le Prisme Ombres Regard in Midnight Look: Each of the four shades in this quad shimmers, sparkles and goes easily from day to night. (No longer available.)

La Prairie Cellular Hand Cream: Sinks right into skin and moisturizes it in a flash.

M.A.C Wonder Woman Eyeshadow Palette in Defiance: I love the boldness of this palette both inside and out -- the four purple hues inside are my go-to shades for drama.

Tweezerman Hot Pink Petite Tweeze Set: One slanted tweezer + one pointed tweezer = the best brows known to (wo)man!

M.A.C Dirty Plum Powder Blush from the Liberty of London Collection: I actually like to use this deep plum shade as an eyeshadow instead of as a blush. But it's the pretty bird and floral design that really catches the eye, don't you think? (No longer available.)

Stila Jewel Eye Shadow Palette: It kills me that I'm approaching the end of the pink shade in this palette -- my favorite pink eyeshadow EVER -- but every one of them sparkles, shimmers and shines. Plus I've never gotten more compliments on my eye makeup than when I use this palette! (No longer available.)

YSL Golden Gloss: This sparkly peach gloss looks equally gorgeous on its own or layered over other glosses and lipsticks.

Lipstick Queen Fifteen Minutes of Fame Pop Art Gloss in 13 Minutes: I'm not really a red lip kind of gal, but the deep pink hue of this gloss does me just fine.

EcoTools Bamboo Shadow Brush: Not only is this the least expensive brush around, it actually applies my shadow evenly and amazingly in just a few strokes!

Sephora Brow Comb: My brows can get a bit unruly, and this brush totally keeps them in check. Plus, the lash comb gets rid of every single mascara clump!

M.A.C Haute & Naughty Lash: My tried-and-true, nobody-does-it-better, my-lashes-look-absolutely-incredible mascara. In just one coat. Seriously.

YSL Gloss Volupte: The cheery pink hue just leaves the perfect pop of color on my pout.

Maybelline Volum'Express The Falsies Mascara: If you want to look like you're wearing false lashes without all of the effort, then wear this mascara. Trust me.

Chanel Brilliant Lip Shine in 427: This subtly sheer cherry gloss is about as red as I'll go. I love the fact that it's not sticky or tacky. (No longer available.)
