Over the weekend, I was treated to a stellar manicure at The John Barrett Salon at Bergdorf Goodman. Excitingly, the salon just started carrying the unbelievably gorgeous line of nail polishes by Le Métier de Beauté -- and I simply had to check them out for myself! And here's the best part -- they were all developed solely for John Barrett clients. I was blown away by the collection of 50 bright, gorgeous shades, and admittedly had a difficult time choosing just one. Hence, my manicure of two sinfully sweet colors, Uma Paro and Avant Garde.
My manicurist, Marie, polished my nails to complete perfection. She and I decided to change the colors on each hand, making one predominantly green (Avant Garden) and one predominantly pink (Uma Paro). I love the richness of the hunter green contrasted with the prettiness of the pink, and the fact that the accent nails are different on each hand just makes it that much more fun. Both colors are also liberally packed with shimmer, not to mention they slicked on easily with tons of glossy shine. I'm wearing two coats of each, and I just can't stop admiring my fantastic nails!
And here's the good news for you. If you're not in New York, you can still experience the amazingness of the collection -- because every color is available for $18 each at johnbarrett.com!
