Mani of the Week: Deborah Lippmann Sweet Dreams

I've really been going through a pink phase recently! I think it's been so long since I'd worn the girly color on my tips that now I'm overdosing on it. And there are so many gorgeous pinks to try that I just can't seem to stop wearing them! In any case, this week's manicure is yet another pink -- Deborah Lippmann Sweet Dreams.

I actually really like this nail polish, even though it's being touted as a 3D holographic when it's really a flakey. I think this nail polish is definitely very interesting -- it's a medium candied pink jelly base with tons of gold flakies. It creates a jelly sandwich effect without having to layer jellies and glitters on top of one another!

The flakies really come out in the sunlight, as you can see in the picture above. In shade or indoors, the color can appear a little muddied until you really look closely.
