If you follow me on Twitter (and if you don't, you really should), you may have noticed me tweeting last night about #SleepNaked. Get your mind out of the gutter ... it means you should take your makeup off before you go to sleep!
From time to time, we've all been guilty of forgetting to remove our makeup at the end of the day. I know that there are occasions when I'm so exhausted that it's the last thing I want to do! And, while I don't really wear any foundation, concealer, blush, bronzer (the list goes on), I do tend to pile on the eye makeup -- which is TERRIBLE for my eyes, since mascara and eyeshadow can cause infections, styes and milia if not removed properly. Not to mention leaving makeup on your face can lead to acne and even premature aging (yikes!).
That's me, sleeping naked! |
I love the whole line of Swisspers products, which are 100 percent cotton-based and meet every skincare need. The line includes everything from makeup wedges in all different shapes and sizes to cotton rounds and swabs! They really make removing makeup so easy.
My point? Removing makeup before bed is so much better for your skin. That's where the Swisspers® Sleep Naked campaign comes in. This campaign urges young women to achieve a healthier skin regimen by pledging to sleep naked -- which is really just a fun way of saying you should take your makeup off before bed! Want to do your part? It's actually quite simple. Visit the Swisspers facebook page and take the Sleep Naked pledge.
Oh, and guess what? I'm hosting a giveaway, too! One lucky person will win the following:
A year's supply of Swisspers
A $50 gift card
