You know those nail polishes that just immediately speak to you? Whether you're just looking at the bottle or seeing how the polish looks on your nail, it just feels like it was made for you. That's how I feel about NCLA Malibu Beach Babe.
To be honest, I don't always respond well to teal. It's probably a holdover from my show choir days, when we had to wear sparkly teal dresses with huge fake diamond earrings that would get stuck on our huge petal sleeves while we were dancing (yes, it was as bad as it sounds). But this nail polish is just the most gorgeous shade of deep teal I may have ever seen.
It's creamy, it's rich, it's dark ... and it applies like an absolute dream. One coat is completely opaque with no streaks, though I applied two for good measure. Also, I love that the color is inspired by the Pacific Coast Highway, fresh ocean air and waves crashing on the shore. It really makes me want to go back to Los Angeles ASAP.
I'm so glad I pulled this polish out of my still-to-be-trieds bag this morning -- it's just absolutely gorgeous and I can't stop staring at my nails!
