I'm usually not a wearer of red nail polish. But now that the temperatures are dropping, it felt like this was a week for a classic red -- and it just really doesn't get more classic than NARS Dovima.
Dovima is just the most gorgeous shade of crimson. It looks more tomato red on the NARS site, and that's actually how they describe it, but I think it lies much more on the side of crimson or candy apple. In any case, it's opaque, creamy and absolutely beautiful. It applies perfectly in only one coat, but I added a second for good measure. And it is actually quite glossy on its own, though I spruced it up with a coat of Seche Vite.
