The Essie Nail Polishes I'm Obsessed With This Week: Leading Lady & The Lace Is On
I normally don't repeat nail polish colors. Truth be told, I have so many that I feel like I'm doing my collection a disservice if I don't use them all equally. But this week, I simply HAD to use two of my favorite colors again, because they're just THAT SPECIAL. I'm speaking, of course, about two equally gorgeous colors by Essie -- Leading Lady and The Lace Is On.
Leading Lady is originally from the Winter 2012 Collection. This has been one of my very favorite nail polishes since I first laid eyes on it! The rich crimson hue, the dense glitter, the opaque quality ... really, how much more gorgeous can you get? While I usually do my own manicures, I got this one at Nail Candy in Pittsburgh -- an adorable nail salon painted in various shades of purple and with super talented manicurists on staff. (Plus they have an incredible polish and gel selection!) In any case, this is one color I use again and again -- I just can't get enough.

The Lace Is On is from the Fall 2013 Collection. I've worn this color a few times, and every time I do, I just can't stop staring at my nails! The shimmering metallic fuchsia is just so perfect -- no streak marks and minimal chipping even after 7 days each time I wear it. It's equally beautiful on fingers and toes, too!
