Happy #ManiMonday, everyone! And what better way to celebrate than with a gorgeous nail polish by
Chanel, am I right? This week I decided to use one of the newest additions to my (considerable) (obsessive)
collection of Chanel polishes,
Sweet Lilac. This is one of the colors from the new
Summer 2014 Collection, Reflets D’Été de Chanel.
This is one of those colors that I knew I needed the moment I laid eyes upon it. The pale pink/lilac hue is light, fresh and perfect for spring and summer. It's interesting because most swatches I've seen have a bit more lilac than pink pulling through, but on me it's definitely more on the pinker side.

In the bottle, Sweet Lilac has the faintest touch of shimmer, but that doesn't come through on the nail at all. Two coats yield perfectly opaque coverage. I wish the shimmer would come through as well, though this is definitely a gorgeous shade even without it!
