#ManiMonday: Essie For The Twill Of It

You know those nail polish colors that you love so much, you think you could be content only wearing them for the rest of your life? Okay, maybe I shouldn't go overboard, but really. The ones that give you a feeling of joy every time you look down at your nails, the ones you end up reaching for again and again. Well, that's how I feel about Essie For The Twill Of It.

I've definitely worn this color before, and I'm sure I'll wear it again. But yesterday, as I was thinking about what to put on my nails, I really didn't have to THINK at all. It was like my fingers were possessed, reaching out for this color before I even knew I wanted to wear it.

For The Twill Of It is classified as a duochrome -- but I think it goes beyond duo into its own stratosphere. Depending on the light, it can look green, grey, purple, brown ... all with a gorgeous shimmer running through it that makes your nails seem as though they're dancing.

Another shot of Essie For The Twill Of It. While the top photo pulls more purple, this one definitely pulls more grey/green.

One thing's for certain. No matter how many times I use this color, it keeps me coming back for more!

    Sounds like a multichrome to me with all those beautiful shades in it ^^. For the moment I have a simple red creme but I'm about to do my nails, not sure what to put on next!

    Looks fab! I've got a bit of a skittlette going on today, on each hand I have a creme on 2 nails, glitter on 1 and leopard print on the other 2. :)
