I'd been holding onto this one for awhile, and to be honest, I'm not sure why. I guess I was just waiting for the perfect moment to debut it on my nails, and today seemed like the right time! A pale orchid purple base is liberally shot through with metallic silver shimmer to create this color, which sparkles and shines on the nail while somehow not seeming TOO flashy.
This is actually my favorite kind of polish -- a shimmer that's easy to apply, easy to look at and easy to remove. No glitter particles make the formula thick and smooth, it's perfectly opaque in two coats, and the finish is even with no visible brushstrokes.
After all the grey days we've been experiencing in Pittsburgh as of late, this is definitely a color that brightens up my day. And that's worth more than its weight in gold (or purple, as the case may be).
What's on your nails right now? Let me know in the comments!
