Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Face Primer
So, to be honest, I really just wanted to try this because of the name and the packaging. I love the way the name on the tube ties in the look and feel of an Rx prescription ... which is exactly what this feels like for the skin. Hangover is meant to be used to replenish and hydrate the skin after long days (and longer nights). A combination of coconut water, probiotics and skin revivers help to boost skin's radiance and promote elasticity.
Since this is a primer, it's also meant to seal makeup in place -- but, as I really don't wear any makeup (no foundation, concealer or bronzer here, people), I use this solely as a primer and serum before my moisturizer. I've found that my skin looks FLAWLESS after application. The white cream sinks directly into the skin with no residue and no greasiness left in its wake -- and gives an instantly refreshed and rejuvenated appearance to my skin even when it's looking and feeling sallow and tired. This is a true miracle worker!

Chanel Hydra Beauty Micro Serum
Is there really a time that using Chanel skincare would be a BAD idea? (I'd have to say no.) I've always loved every single product in the Chanel skincare line, and this serum is no different. My skin has been MAJORLY dry as of late, especially with the recent up and down temperatures. But thanks to the freshly scented, super light serum contained inside this bottle, dryness is now a thing of the past.
A combination of camellia micro-droplets (the purest form of camellia oil extract and exclusive new camellia alba OFA) and blue ginger work to retain moisture, hydrate and protect the skin, all while feeling fresh, soothing and comforting. In addition, PFA (Polyfractioned Active), an ultra-pure and ultra-powerful ingredient developed through an exclusive purification technique by Chanel, is added to the camellia alba and blue ginger. My skin has become more radiant and definitely feels softer and smoother ever since I introduced this serum into my morning skincare routine. And the hydration lasts for a full 24 hours!

I wanted Hangover for the name too but now because of your review I need it for REAL lol
ReplyDeleteThe name is so good, right? Luckily the product is just as awesome!
DeleteI need to try that Too Faced Primer. Love that it contains coconut water and probiotics.
ReplyDeleteYou'll have to let me know what you think if you try it!
DeleteI wish I could get even a sample of the Chanel serum. It sounds so luxurious. And I always took the name of the TF Hangover Primer seriously and thought I didn't need it. Sounds like I do after all!
ReplyDeleteMaybe a Chanel counter would let you have a sample? It's worth asking!
DeleteWow, both of these sound amazing! Your description makes me want both NOW!!!
