Throwback Thursday: Gap Heaven

Gap, Gap Heaven, fragrance, perfume, Throwback Thursday, #tbt
Let's go back to the mid-90s for a second. Grunge was huge (I was wearing oversized flannels and Birkenstocks to school every day), Clueless was my favorite movie, and Gap Heaven was the scent I couldn't live without.

This was the era of Heaven, Grass and Dream ... AKA Gap's best moment ever. There was a scent for everyone, but if you liked Heaven? You were, well, heavenly.

Heaven smelled fresh and clean, a bit like dryer sheets but more sophisticated. The other Gap scents were a bit too earthy for me (I've never been a fan of patchouli), but Heaven just made me smile every time I inhaled. Heaven combined notes of musk and jasmine and was perfect whether I was spending the day at school or the evening on a coffee date with my besties at Caribou Coffee. (Side note: RIP Caribou.)

I bought this fragrance in bulk -- seriously, every time I went to the mall (which was every weekend), I came home with another bottle. I think at one point I had 5 or 6 on my dresser alone. And, no, I didn't think this was excessive.

I was devastated when Gap discontinued Heaven. It really did signify the end of an era for me.

Do you remember the Gap fragrances of the 90s? Which one was your favorite? Let me know in the comments!

  6. I don't remember this scent, but Gap wasn't really a 'thing' here (aka small town Canada.) It does sound like a great scent though!
