My Paula's Choice Skincare Empties

Paula's Choice, Paula's Choice skincare empties, PRIMP, Pretty in My Pocket, sponsored post, Paula's Choice Moisture Boost One Step Face Cleanser, Paula's Choice Moisture Boost Essential Hydrating Toner
Back in June, I told you about a new (to me) beauty brand that had pretty much taken over my skincare regimen. I'm speaking, of course, about Paula's Choice. Well, it's now a few months later, and I'm here to tell you I'm still so obsessed, I've got a couple empties to share with you!

Moisture Boost One Step Facial Cleanser
Works to gently remove cellular debris, excess oil and makeup. I actually don't really wear a lot of makeup in general (and never wear concealer, foundation or bronzer), so I'm typically just cleansing a normal day's wear and tear off my face.

My original assessment: This cleanser creates a delightful lather that simultaneously leaves no film or greasiness upon the skin. My skin just FEELS lighter and cleaner after using it.

Well, three months later, I still feel exactly the same way! I actually look forward to washing my face because I get to use this cleanser. It's light, it's creamy, it takes off every ounce of makeup and debris I've encountered throughout the day. Plus, it doesn't make me break out AND it makes my skin even softer than before I used it! Pretty much an all around win.

Moisture Boost Hydrating Toner
Soothes and calms your skin with antioxidants and repairing ingredients while also removing any final traces of makeup. It's alcohol free, reduces inflammation and helps reinforce a healthy barrier function from the very first use.

My original assessment: I'm not really a toner user by nature as I find it dries out my skin, but this one was too intriguing not to try. I loved the texture, which is more like a cleanser than a normal toner. You're supposed to pour the liquid onto a cotton pad and then apply to your skin, but as I have no cotton pads currently (I know, I'm the worst beauty blogger ever), I've just been applying it to my hands and then directly to my face, which has been working quite well. Even before applying moisturizer, my skin feels softer and smoother.

Again, I'm still LOVING this toner. And I honestly hate using toner! Seriously, I never use it -- and I can't WAIT to apply this after cleansing. I started using it with a cotton pad rather than applying it directly to my skin, and I do prefer that method now. I typically pour about a dime-sized amount onto a pad and just smooth it gently over my skin in circular motions for about 30 seconds. It doesn't strip the skin, it doesn't dry me out, and it makes me feel squeaky clean and refreshed. What's not to love?

My only problem? I love these products so much, I've used them up completely! So now I'll have to repurchase them both, because I DEFINITELY can't live without them.

And here's some good news just for you! As a Power Primper, I am offering 20% off + free shipping with promo code: PRIMPFALL20 to my readers when you shop at This code expires December 31 at midnight EST. One-time use only. Cannot be combined with other offers or applied to previous purchase.
