I have always been a sucker for glittery goodness, and this color has it in spades. I love the multidimensional glitter flecks, the rainbow-hued shimmer and the yellow gold base -- all of it adds up to one SERIOUSLY fabulous nail polish.
Tart With A Heart is definitely a nail polish I go back to from time to time -- it's been in my stash for awhile but it had admittedly been a couple years since I pulled it out. But when I was trying to decide what color to use for my manicure today, my eyes just went to it immediately!
Just look at that holographic glitter. Is there anything more gorgeous? |
This is a very buildable color, so the more coats you apply, the more dense it gets. I hovered between two and three depending on how thick I applied the color with each coat -- though I actually found that three, while it makes the color fairly opaque, also makes it so thick it peels off in sheets! So I would recommend two coats even if it turns out a little patchy.
The texture is slightly gritty, even with top coat. That doesn't bother me, necessarily, but it's definitely not super smooth like other shimmery polishes.
I don't know about you, but I'm pretty darn sweet on Tart With A Heart!
