I immediately gravitated to this nail polish because of the rich teal hue. It's just such a perfect color for fingers and toes, especially in the warm spring and summer months. But what really sets it apart is the addition of shimmery royal blue flecks in the formula.
Interestingly, though, the shimmer doesn't really come through much once you apply the polish. It's fairly nonexistent even beforehand, but I applied two coats and the shimmer all but disappeared. So I don't love that aspect of the polish, but the teal is so pretty that I'm (partially) willing to overlook it.
The blue shimmer is definitely not prevalent, but I still love the color. |
Like all RBL polishes, the formula is easy to apply and perfectly opaque within two coats. This is definitely a stunner of a color with or without the shimmer -- I can't help but stare at my nails!
What's on your nails right now? Let me know in the comments!
I love this soft teal color!
ReplyDeleteThis is a nice shade of teal. My nails are a wild dry marble I just threw together a moment ago.
ReplyDeleteI love the bit of grey mixed with aqua to come up with that shade. So pretty
ReplyDeleteAh yes! RBL was certainly one of the first brands to do off-beat, interesting shimmers!
ReplyDeleteI loved this brand. I should pull out some of my favorites.
ReplyDeleteI love this colour and am still sad about RBL closing shop. As for my nails, I am currently wearing Baroness X Quixotica.
ReplyDeleteI don't see the shimmer at all in your pictures. I love creamy shades in the summer and this one is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI regret not buying so many of their shades. This is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI own so many of these, but I missed out on this one! My favorites though are the Spongebob themed ones lol
