Flashback Friday: Essie For The Twill Of It

YOU GUYS. I was looking through all of my nail polishes recently (quite a feat, since I have over 600), and my eyes fell upon the one, the only, Essie For The Twill Of It. And, just like the first time I saw this stunner, I was immediately smitten.

Is it green? Is it grey? Is it purple? Is it all three? The answer is a resounding YES. This is one of those gorgeous polishes that changes in the light, shimmering and glistening and gleaming with pride.

The formula is a bit on the thicker side, so you can actually get away with only using one coat. I used two for a bit more opaque coverage, and finished with top coat to seal in the shine.

I'm so glad this color is in my nail polish arsenal. It's unique and makes a true statement -- and, since it changes colors, it goes with everything!

    I have that - at least I should have it. I wore it several times. When I clean out my stash to move I hope it shows up because it's a fun color.

    I love that the polish takes on all sorts of colors. I have just a plain old french manicure these days.
