The #ValentinesMaskChallenge: Clarins SOS Hydra Refreshing Hydration Mask

Clarins, Clarins SOS Hydra Refreshing Hydration Mask, face mask, skincare, skin care, #ValentinesMaskChallenge
Roses are red, violets are blue ... this #ValentinesMaskChallenge is for you! Two of the lovely people I follow on Instagram, @mindyourbeauty and @melubbeauty, are hosting a 7-day mask challenge. I'm going to be posting every day, both here and on my Instagram, so definitely check back each day to see the theme and the mask I chose to support it!

First up in the challenge is Smitten, AKA New Mask Love. I've fallen in love with quite a few masks in recent weeks and months, but there's one that has definitely stood out from the rest -- and that's the Clarins SOS Hydra Refreshing Hydration Mask.

As if the cool blue hue of this mask weren't enough to make you feel refreshed, the mask itself does the rest! 10 minutes with the rich, creamy formula is all it takes for skin to get a true hydration pick me up.

My skin has definitely been feeling a little more dehydrated recently. Winter in LA may be beautiful (hello, 80 degrees and sunny in February), but the dry air definitely takes a toll on my skin! This mask is formulated with Leaf of Life extract to smooth fine lines, soothe irritations and revive radiance.

I've been using this mask in the morning twice a week before work. I love the cream-gel formula -- it's refreshing and rejuvenating, and it enhances my skin with a healthy-looking glow. It actually leaves my skin feeling so soft and smooth, I don't even need to apply moisturizer after I wash it off!

Feeling blue? I don't think that's such a bad thing with this mask by my side!

The Clarins SOS Hydra Refreshing Hydration Mask retails for $34 at sephora.com.

  3. Does it contain anything that gives it a cooling feeling, like menthol or eucalyptus? I love Clarins and their hydrating lines are great, but I can't use those.

  7. Hydration is super important and I love the masks that do not suck all the moisture out of the skin. This one sounds promising.
