From the moment I checked in to the time I (sadly) had to check out, my stay was everything I could have hoped it would be and more! They even had a bottle of wine waiting for me in my room.

I typically stay a bit further uptown, but
I’m so glad I picked The Ludlow Hotel this time. The Lower East Side is
burgeoning with amazing bars, restaurants, galleries, you name it — it
was so fantastic to get a different perspective of the city this time
and go places I usually don’t have time to visit!
There are multiple room options to choose from. I was debating between the Studio King and the Loft Queen — and even though I always love a king-sized bed, I ultimately ended up choosing the latter because of the enormous soaking tub in the bathroom.

Another view from the bedroom toward the bathroom. This bathroom is exactly how I want mine to look. So chic and lovely. I'm not kidding when I tell you I could not take enough showers here! The water pressure was super strong, the heat was perfect and the body wash was delightful. I didn't ever want to get out!
I mean, why wouldn't you want to spend time in that tub?!
If you're wondering whether the beds are comfortable ... well, I'm here to tell you I slept more soundly in this hotel bed than I had for weeks. Seriously, I slept straight through for 7-8 hours a night, which is basically unheard of in my life! Not to mention the rooms are very soundproofed — I never heard anything from the hallway or the floors above or below me, which I loved. The pièce de resistance of the Loft Queen: the oversized soaking tub overlooking New York City.
In addition to my fabulous time in the hotel, I also made it a point to dine one evening at the restaurant, Dirty French. I had only been there for drinks once years before, and I'd always wanted to go back for dinner. Oh. My. GOD. I have not had a better dinner in SUCH A LONG TIME. Our server was so kind and knowledgeable about every dish on the menu, making suggestions and steering us in the absolute right direction for the entire meal. My friend Felicia and I enjoyed the following:
Deviled Egg
Scallop Cru
Corn (special appetizer, WOW was this incredible)
Trout Meunière
Steak au Poivre
Pommes Purée
Steamed Spinach
And, of course, we each had to have the Frozen Aperol Spritz!

If you haven't posed in the bathroom, have you even stayed in the Loft Queen? |

This was my first time back to New York in four years, and it was absolutely made better because I stayed here. I’ll definitely be making this my regular hotel in NYC!I loved this little storage area in the room. The other side was a wireless phone charger! Earrings: Bing Bang. Glasses: Zenni.

Please tell me you took endless selfies in that bathroom. So beautiful. What a great blog post. It'll be awhile before my next NYC trip, but I'm bookmarking this for the future!
