OOTD: Celebrating My New Yorkiversary!

I meant to post this last week, but time got away from me! In any case, this is what I wore to celebrate my New Yorkiversary. I spent the evening with friends at a much loved bar on the Upper East Side, and then had late night eats at Moonstruck Diner (side note: they have the BEST matzah ball soup, except for my grandmother's and my own). I wanted an outfit that was fun, stylish, comfortable and with just a hint of bling -- and this was everything I hoped it would be! Here's what I wore.

My New Love: Rebecca Minkoff Nikki Hobo

We all have our passions. And one of mine? Rebecca Minkoff. I think it's fairly obvious that I'm in love with anything and everything Rebecca Minkoff, seeing as I've got nine (yes, nine) of her bags and multiple cuffs. But my latest love? It's the Rebecca Minkoff Nikki Hobo.

I'd been lusting after this bag for quite some time -- at least three years -- and, finally, it went on sale in my dream color! I snagged it in lavender (above) back in December, and I've been carrying it nonstop ever since. I love the minimal hardware and fun O-ring details, and the dogclip details on the sides are such a cool touch.

This hobo is big enough that it even fits up to a 15-inch laptop! But although I can fit my computer, Kindle, gym clothes, an extra pair of heels and my wallet in there on a daily basis, it still doesn't feel bulky or oversized. It's the perfect bag for everyday use or for travel, and it's guaranteed to get you compliments on the street!

Plus, it's one of Rebecca Minkoff's standby silhouettes, so it's always available in new colors. (Lavender is no longer available on Rebecca Minkoff's website, though it's currently available in other colors for $495 here.) Trust me -- this bag is worth it!

The Best Update to the Best Friend Necklace: Rebecca Minkoff Best Friends Leather Pouches

When I was little, I had Best Friends necklaces with a couple girlfriends. You know, where one said "Be Fri" and the other said "St Ends." I always thought they were so cool! So it only stands to reason that the Rebecca Minkoff Best Friend Leather Pouches have been calling my name for months. I've been dying to buy them for my bestie and partner-in-crime, the fabulous Katie Reed.

Outfit of the Day: The Chic but Casual Traveler

I was traveling on the Acela back from Boston today and decided I needed to be chic yet casual. This called for a mixture of items that, on their own, are pretty easygoing -- but I think added up to a nice array that kept me looking respectable on the train! Haul of the Day: Rebecca Minkoff Sample Sale Goodies

What an auspicious day today was! I went to the Rebecca Minkoff sample sale with my gal Deenie after work. Lo and behold, EVERY SINGLE BAG I've ever dreamed of owning was there and at a fraction of the price! There were Morning After Bags, Nikkis and Devote Totes every which way I looked. (Not to mention it was the second most-crowded sample sale I've ever attended. Diane von Furstenberg takes the cake.)

Last week I had the pleasure of attending a press preview at the Rebecca Minkoff showroom. If you know anything about me, you know I live and die for Rebecca Minkoff. I can name each and every bag in the line -- complete with collection names -- and can pick them out from a mile away.
