Love Potion #9: Jaqua Pink Potion

Perfection in a beauty brand is rare. But this beauty chick believes that, once in a looooong while, it can be achieved. And no one does it more flawlessly, more beautifully, and more filled with fun and excitement than Jaqua. I've long been a fan of the brand's shower syrups, body butters and body scrubs, spanning utterly gorgeous scents like the decadent Buttercream Frosting, yummy Peach Parfait and sinfully rich Mint Chocolate.

Best. Haircut. Ever. Thank You, John Robert's!

Suffering the wrath of a terrible haircut? Why, yes I was. Earlier this year, I decided to go to a new salon, which shall remain nameless, for just a quick trim. My locks had finally grown out from the pixie-like cut I'd been sporting, and were looking good on a daily basis with almost no product and no extra steps in the morning to get ready. Imagine my shock and horror when my tresses were not just trimmed evenly about an inch, but were completely hacked into a sort-of grown-out mullet! And an uneven one, at that. After much crying, screaming and temper tantruming, I got a hold of myself and booked an appointment at John Robert's Spa in Mayfield Heights, Ohio.

With so many cleansers on the market, this beauty chick is usually hard-pressed to pick just one to call my favorite. But I think I may have stumbled across the best one yet this week. Welcome to the Biore Warming Anti-Blackhead Cleanser.

Direct from the Runway: Armani Prive

Ahhh, Couture. The time when designers crank out their most lavish, exquisite, and might I mention expensive pieces for the runways. It's the stuff of legend -- what only the richest socialites can afford. But that doesn't stop all of us from wishing, right? But unfortunately the beauty looks do not always compare to the gorgeous pieces coming down the runway. Case in point: Armani Prive.

The makeup isn't horrible -- while a little bland, with a barely there lip and the smoky eye that we've seen all over the runways recently -- the hair leaves a little something to be desired. Even if I could escape the horribly shocking royal blue extension coming out of the side of this poor model's head, I don't think I could get past the utterly severe side part, allover flyaways (though this is supposed to be a sleek look), and worst of all, the messy bun coming out of the side of her head.

It's a throwback to the '80s in the worst possible way! I'm sorry, Armani, but this one is a miss.
