Great Brand Alert: The Soap & Paper Factory

The Soap & Paper Factory, Great Brand Alert, soap, bath and body products

Looking for a line of bath and home goods that not only beautify your boudoir but your very essence as well? Look no further than The Soap & Paper Factory. This line of goods, from candles and lotions to stationery and drawer paper, is meticulously crafted and oh so pretty. Each scent in the collection is created to stimulate the mind, body and spirit; while the accompanying patterned boxes and holders are inspired by nature and created with a specific fragrance in mind.

A variety of scents abound in this line, each one more lovely and intoxicating than the next. They are:

Orange Blossom
Verbena
Rosewood
Green Tea
Fig
Cinnamon Clove

The line feels like a more upscale version of Crabtree & Evelyn -- but each product is luxe, inviting and somehow completely unique. Here are the standouts.

The Soap & Paper Factory, The Soap & Paper Factory Body Cream, lotion, body lotion, great brand alert

Body Cream ($56 each)
I recently gifted my dad's GF with a tub of this in the beautiful Orange Blossom scent -- and within minutes, she was slathering her entire body with it. The thick cream is utterly moisturizing and has a consistency almost of whipped butter ... it's thick and rich but somehow light and airy at the same time. It sinks into skin immediately and leaves behind a beautiful aroma that lasts for hours, making the addition of perfume unnecessary. Plus, it's free of parabens, phthalate and petroleum, and it's not tested on animals. My knobbly knees and elbows were softer than they'd been in weeks after only a couple swipes of the cream (which, thankfully, my dad's GF was willing to part with!). It's a luxurious indulgence that's so, so worth it.

The Soap & Paper Factory, Great Brand Alert, The Soap & Paper Factory Body Scrub

Body Scrub ($44 each)
Exfoliate to your heart's content with this scrub. A truly amazing iteration with just the right amount of graininess, the granules really slough off dead skin cells and make your skin glisten and shine. My personal favorite is the Fig Sugar Scrub, which warms on contact and just smells delectably divine. I love that it's created with sea salt and sugar to take care of any pesky dead skin cells ... and that oils like macadamia nut, sweet almond, apricot kernel, jojoba and wheat germ are imparted into the formula to really make skin smooth and soft.

The Soap & Paper Factory Bath & Basin Boxed Soap, The Soap & Paper Factory, Great Brand Alert, bar soap, hand soap, guest soap

Bath & Basin Boxed Soap ($24 each)
Absolutely the perfect hostess gift. I am completely enamored of these soaps, which are crafted in small batches and hand mixed, poured and cut into slightly irregular squares and rectangles. Each box comes with three bars of soap -- two basin bars and one bath bar -- that have been infused with shea butter and saponified oils of olive, coconut and palm kernel. The end result? Totally soft skin that smells incredibly amazing. Not to mention the box alone is so lovely ... and since each scent has its own design, you can mix and match to create a gift that's uniquely your own.
