The Melting Pot: Sephora Beach Glow Melted Body Butter

Sephora, Sephora Beach Glow Melted Body Butter, self tanner
Gals, I have a confession to make. I cannot stop staring at my legs. Now, I swear I'm not one of those girls who walks around every day thinking she looks fabulous. But after some hardcore workout sessions with my personal trainer, Larry (who I'm convinced on some days is trying to kill me), my legs are looking much more toned and summer skirt appropriate. And it's a good thing, because with my recent discovery of Sephora Beach Glow Melted Body Butter, they are just looking seriously fantastic.

Now, quite unfortunately, my legs don't tan. It wouldn't matter if I sat in the sun for 15 hours a day, 7 days a week -- they're just not going to be anything but pale, milky, Casper-esque white. So I'm totally loving this moisturizer, which glides on smoothly and makes my legs look like I just sat on the beach in Cancun for two weeks. And with its infusion of shea butter, it moisturizes and softens like there's no tomorrow.

But even better than that is the delectable scent. A combination of floral notes -- jasmine and lily of the valley -- combine with fruity, zesty kiwi and pear for an aroma that just oozes relaxed sensuality.

The touch of shimmer this cream leaves behind is nowhere near over-the-top or glitzy glamazon; instead it's just the right amount to make me look down at my legs fifty times a day in admiration and glory.

Unfortunately, this product is no longer available.

  3. T've tried the bare escentuals tanning lotion which i think costs $24 or $28 and my legs were TAN (I think it's called Better than tan; it was from sephora). But once you wash it off it's gone and i was wondering if this was anything like that. Or is it like the jergens natural glow lotion that gives you a lasting glow for as long as you use it? I'd really like to try this if it was more like the jergens natural glow moisturizer because it would actually give me a nice lasting glow and not make my legs look super TAN one day and white the next.

  4. Good for you, Jamie, for making the effort to workout. You know we love personal trainers in our household. LOL.

I will have to give this a try. I have Casper-esque legs, too.

  5. My legs don't tan either. Its a problem. Maybe I'll pick this up next time I do a Sephora run. And how can I resist it with that yummy sounding name?

  6. ericaj -- This is just a moisturizer that, unfortunately, is gone as soon as you shower! But it does give you a fabulous lasting glow all day long. If you're looking for continuous, lasting color though, I definitely think Jergens Natural Glow is the best.

  7. girl-woman -- Thanks! Working out is hard, but I definitely think it's worth the effort. And this body butter is definitely worth the effort for getting rid of Casper legs! :)
