A lipstick and a lipgloss in one? I'm intrigued. But one that plumps at the same time? I'm holding onto the edge of my seat. And wait, it's under $10? I'm sold. Well, fellow beauty chicks, I've found the holy grail. It's the Sonia Kashuk Sheer Lip Color in Paradise 01.
This dual-sided tube has a creamy lipstick on one end, a juicy gloss on the other. And whether you wear them separately or together, your lips will ... look ... amazing. I tend to use just the gloss during the day, but at night I like to pile on a few layers of the lipstick and follow with a layer of the gloss for a gorgeously shiny pout.
What I love about the lipstick side is its ability to blend and build. It never comes off as looking too strong or scary, which is something I constantly worry about with red lipsticks. The fact that it's slightly sheer lends it a girly feel.
What I'm really jonesing for, though, is the other side ... the Plumping Glossy Tint. Now, as with most plumping glosses, this one will make your lips tingle a bit. But ... wait for it ... they won't burn at all. Trust me -- I have pretty sensitive lips, and I tend not to like those burny plumpers. This one actually feels quite nice as it plumps, and it really does make lips look bigger! (I'm going to be challenging Angelina Jolie for the best lips title any day now.) The reddish pink hue is utterly gorgeous as well -- super-flattering whether you're pale or dark, and it sexes up any outfit just a touch.
