Beauty Question: When Do You Wash Your Hair?

Gals, I think I need to change up my hair routine. Washing it in the morning is getting to be quite tiresome ... and the time spent blowing it out just makes me cranky before I head off to work. To that end, I'm thinking about making the switch to nighttime washes. So this begs the ever-important Beauty Question ... When do you wash your hair? Are you a nighttime washer, or do you prefer to have it squeaky clean in the morning? Let me know in the comments!

  1. I wash my hair in the evening. Because I have incredibly thick hair, it's nice in the morning to not have to blow dry and walk around still with wet hair. It makes it easier for me just to pop out of bed and curl it. I had a hairdresser tell me that I should only wash my hair once a week if that...I thought that was ridiculous. My hair would be a wreck. It's just a disgusting thought!

  2. I also am a nighttime washer-my hair is on the thin side but it's nice because I can just braid it, or throw it up in a high messy bun and there will be a little bit of volume to it in the morning! Then I don't have to wrestle with the hair dryer-just the curling iron...and it seems to curl better in the morning if I wash it the night before!

  4. I wash my hair once a week, generally on Saturday because I have more free time. I still shower, rinse and condition my hair everyday, and usually in the morning. It still takes a bit of time, but I have curly hair. My day after hair is a frizzy mess, so mornings are my only option.

    1. * sorry. that doesnt make sense, you wash your hair once a week (on saturdays, generally) but yet you still shower, rinse & condition it everyday?? Is that not "washing" it????

  5. I wash about twice a week, in the evenings. I mostly just let it airdry, and because my hair is so dry and frizzy, it actually looks a lot better the next day because it's calmed down a bit, after being slept on. I can barely muster the will to brush my teeth in the morning, let alone shower!

  6. I was my hair in the morning because it is short and doesn't style very well after I have slept on it all night. Now that I am growing it out, I may be able to get away with washing it at night. I would prefer to do this to free up some time in the morning!

  7. I wash my hair at night, 'cuz I can sleep on it, and then do whatever to make it look good. I just don't have the patience to blow dry my hair.

  8. I have been a nighttime hair washer since as long as I can remember. My hair is very thick, and I am not a morning person. So, showering at night is best for me.

  11. I usually wash my hair in the afternoon or night, simply because I don't want to always blow dry my hair, and I can't wake up at 6 AM every day.

  12. I use to wash my hair in the morning but it took up too much time, so i started washing my hair at night & before i go to bed i brush it straight when its wet so in the morning i wake up & my hair is already straight so i don't really need to style it & when i do style i usually just put loose curls in my clip in hair extentions, so i aviod damaging my hair (:
