Discover the New Fekkai Advanced!

Frederic Fekkai, Frederic Fekkai Advanced Hair Care Line, hair products, shampoo, conditioner
Those beloved bottles of Fekkai Advanced just got better. The people in the lab tweaked the formulas in each line, just a bit, to bring even better results. The most noticeable change is the now delicious citrus vanilla scent in the Full Blown Volume line. Warning, it will make you crave a dreamsicle with every wash! The packaging also had a makeover and now all the bottles are gorgeously chic. The best part is, even with all the new changes, the prices remain the same as before! I had the chance to meet Frederic Fekkai in person and talk to him about his new collection launch and tips for utilizing all his great products. Keep reading for my two favorite pieces of advice from the Hair God himself.

How do we choose what line to use?
Mr. Fekkai says to always address your primary need, which could be more than one thing. For example, he looked at my hair and said that I could use more shine and volume, so he suggested that I keep BOTH the Brilliant Glossing and Full Blown Volume shampoo and conditioners in the shower and switch it up. He advises to wash your hair every other day, and to mix and match his different lines according to your current needs.

What’s the best hair advice you have for the readers of Beauty of Life?
“Don’t overdo it!” Mr. Fekkai emphasizes the importance of enhancing each person’s own hair texture. Use as little product as necessary to bring out your hair’s best characteristics. For example, for my naturally straight hair, he advises against curling it and suggests instead the Brilliant Glossing Sheer Shine Mist or Full Blown Volume Lifting Hairspray. A little shine goes a long way, he says, and for hairspray, just focus on the crown on the head. So the takeaway here is: Instead of struggling with your hair every morning, flaunt what you’ve got!
