Beauty Question: Which Discontinued Beauty Product Do You Wish Would Come Back?
Don't you hate when your favorite beauty product is discontinued all of a sudden? I can't tell you how much it hurts my heart when that happens. My all-time favorite hair product, Frederic Fekkai Straight Away, was discontinued a few years ago and it's been eating away at me ever since. Luckily, I had one tube that I used very sparingly -- but, lo and behold, it finally ran out today. Sadness! So my beauty question of the day is this: Which discontinued beauty product do you wish would come back? Let me know in the comments!

Discover the New Fekkai Advanced!

Those beloved bottles of Fekkai Advanced just got better. The people in the lab tweaked the formulas in each line, just a bit, to bring even better results. The most noticeable change is the now delicious citrus vanilla scent in the Full Blown Volume line. Warning, it will make you crave a dreamsicle with every wash! The packaging also had a makeover and now all the bottles are gorgeously chic. The best part is, even with all the new changes, the prices remain the same as before! I had the chance to meet Frederic Fekkai in person and talk to him about his new collection launch and tips for utilizing all his great products. Keep reading for my two favorite pieces of advice from the Hair God himself.

Lusts of the Week
Well, fellow beauty chicks ... huge news. After three and a half years as the Copywriter for Ralph Lauren, I am taking on a new job next week as the Copywriter for Bergdorf Goodman! I'm movin' on up -- literally -- as it's, coincidentally, in the same building as my current position but on a higher floor. (At least I won't have to give up walking to work!) So this week is filled with tearful goodbyes, lots of packing (who knew you could cram so much into a tiny office?) and, of course, a few Lusts of the Week along the way!

Glazing Over It: Frederic Fekkai Salon Glaze
One of my all-time favorite things to do at the salon? It's not the head massage that comes with my shampoo -- though it is amazingly relaxing -- or the coma-inducing hand massage that I get while my hair is being blown out. Those perks are great, but I'd give them up just to get a glaze every time I step into the salon. The sleek, shiny results leave me feeling happy every time I catch a glimpse of my reflection in the mirror. So when I heard about Frederic Fekkai Salon Glaze, I just knew I had to check it out. The glossy finish from a salon glaze right in your own home? Sign me up immediately, I thought to myself.

Wallet-Friendly Wednesdays: Frederic Fekkai Glossing To Go
If you're like me, your summer is booking up pretty fast. When I last glanced at my calendar, I discovered that I only have about four free weekends from now until August! But one thing's for certain -- I will definitely not travel anywhere without my trusty Frederic Fekkai Glossing To Go products.

"Shea" It Isn't So: Frederic Fekkai Shea Butter Hair Mask
The slender tube contains some of the creamiest, richest, most moisturizing treatments around. Formulated with shea butter -- good for softening everything from knobbly knees to scaly elbows -- this conditioning mask is aided by the addition of macadamia nut oil to really pull out all the stops. And the longer you leave it on, the softer and more gorgeous your tresses will look and feel! (This beauty chick recommends applying at the beginning of your shower and leaving it on for at least 20 minutes.)
Frederic Fekkai Shea Butter Hair Mask retails for $23 at drugstore.com.

Love of My Life: Frederic Fekkai Coiff Perfecteur Anti-Frizz Silkening Creme
I'm in love. No, not with a boy ... with a hair product. Come on, would you expect anything less from this beauty chick? And my latest flight of fancy is none other than Frederic Fekkai's Coiff Perfecteur Anti-Frizz Silkening Creme.
The groovy-looking tube is light blue in color, with a neat little twisting top that ensures none will spill out unexpectedly (thank goodness). And what does this magical product do, you might ask? Why, make sure your hair remains silky and frizz-free, of course!
Now, my hair is not known for behaving, even on humidity-free days. But in the past week, I think I've received more compliments on the sleekness and shininess of my tresses, and it's all thanks to Frederic Fekkai. A mere dime-sized amount emulsified within my palms and rubbed into my damp locks, and after blowdrying my hair looks absolutely amazing. And the slight melony-cucumbery scent doesn't hurt, either.
See for yourself -- it's only $25 and available on Sephora's website. While I have to admit I was bummed when I recently discovered that my all-time favorite product -- the line's Smooth Hair -- was being discontinued, this baby is bigger and better than ever. At least it keeps my hair anything but big.
