At a press preview for UGG Australia recently, I had the immense pleasure of checking out Street Sweets. I loved the Coconut Macaroons Macarellas and Pumpkin Whoopie Pies so much, I simply had to treat my guests at a party I threw the following week to the deliciousness I had just discovered.
Believe me when I say that these sweets are immensely, intensely delicious. Each treat is like a little bite of heaven. My party guests enjoyed the following deliciousness:
Coconut Macaroons Macarellas
Pumpkin Whoopie Pies
Chocolate Whoopie Pies
Red Velvet Cupcakes
Vanilla Cupcakes
Chocolate Cupcakes
And you know what? I got all of that for only $10 a person! Even better, they were delivered to me on chic white trays, arranged so beautifully it was almost a shame to let my guests dig in! (Lucky for them, I let it happen.)

I rather eat treats baked by the person selling them, rather than a middle man buying from other bakeries and upcharging
ReplyDeleteAs far as I know, most of their stuff is baked by them. Yes, they do have some things from other places, but they're certainly not your average middle man upcharging for stuff. Most of their things are baked in their truck, which is very cool by itself.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous #1 -- Anonymous #2 is correct. Their baked goods are homemade each day in their own kitchen. They're not buying from other bakeries but are creating their very own baked goods that I actually have not ever seen anywhere else.
