Today is Rosh Hashanah -- the Jewish new year. In celebration each year, we are supposed to eat apples and honey, symbolizing a sweet new year. And in true Beauty Chick form, I simply had to sweeten up my year with some apple- and honey-themed beauty products! Check out my favorites after the jump.
Laura Mercier Creme de Pistache Honey Bath ($40 at sephora.com): This sweet-smelling, super-rich, honey-laden bubble bath doubles as a delectably delicious body wash.
Caswell-Massey Green Apple Orchard Soap ($18): I'm normally not a bar soap person, but in the case of this glycerin iteration -- sweetly scented with crisp apple -- I'll make an exception.
LoLLIA Foaming Bath, Relax Lavender & Honey ($32): If you're looking for a spa experience inside your home, look no further than this gentle foaming bubble bath. And isn't the bottle just divine?
Go SMiLE Touch Up Smile Perfecting Ampoules, Green Apple ($35): Thanks to a bout with a movie theater seat when I was a kid, I have a bond on my front tooth that makes whitening impossible. But I love this set of 30 ampoules, which both freshen my breath and leave my teeth SPARKLING.
Essie Nail Polish in Mint Candy Apple ($8): Okay, arguably neither a scent nor a fall-appropriate shade. But I'm making an exception for this brightly hued polish, because it garners compliments upon every single wear.
Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Honey Drops Body Cream ($19.50): Skin abolished of rough, dry patches? It's doable when you have this thick cream by your side. I love the drops of honey scattered within the formula -- rubbing them into the skin is just so satisfying.
Crabtree & Evelyn Creamy Cleanser in Citron Honey & Coriander ($15): I'm a fan of luxurious hand washes, and this one -- packed with nourishing natural oils and extracts of lemon and honey -- is no different.
Technically Rosh Hashana doesn't start until sun down tonight (Wednesday).
