Salon and Spa Directory: Bliss Spa's No "Zit" Sherlock Facial

Let's get something straight. Blemishes are my least favorite thing in the entire world. So when I had the chance to check out the No "Zit" Sherlock Facial at Bliss, I most certainly took advantage. My skin has been freaking out as of late, with more pimples and red spots popping up than ever before, so this facial couldn't have come at a better time.

My aesthetician, Zena, couldn't have been nicer or more knowledgeable when it came to what was happening with my skin. She applied creams, masks, exfoliants and even a light peel with the most deft of touch, and when it came time to extractions? I. Didn't. Feel. A. Thing. It seriously felt like Zena was giving me a face massage ... the end result being clear pores that even looked smaller.

And my favorite part of this treatment? The zit-zapping light therapy that comes after the extractions! Both red and blue lights are used to clear the skin of bacteria and prevent future breakouts. It's so high-tech, yet at the same time strangely calming. (Truth be told, this is about the time in the facial where I fell asleep on the table.)
