Who else has the winter blues? I don't know about you, but all this snow, slush and grey days really have me wishing for some sun, sand and surf right about now! I decided to perk myself up a bit with a bright turquoise manicure -- because there's nothing better than staring down at my nails and seeing this happy color looking back at me. For today's manicure, I chose Jin Soon Poppy Blue and then layered it with one coat of Zoya Mosheen.

Jin Soon Poppy Blue is one of those bright, happy colors that just can't help but make you smile. While it's bold in the bottle, it takes on a whole new quality on the nail! Two coats yield even, creamy perfection with no streaking or patchiness. And while I love the color on its own, I wanted to spice things up a bit -- so I reached for my bottle of Zoya Mosheen!

Mosheen is one of the colors from Zoya's new Winter 2013 Zenith Collection. In the bottle, it looks pretty -- but on the nail, WOW! It's a clear base loaded with pink, purple and turquoise glitter. But what really makes it special is the mix of micro-glitter and bar glitter pieces. I'm normally not a fan of bar glitter, because I think it just looks messy and it's a huge pain to remove. But in the case of Mosheen, I'm making an exception -- it just adds such depth and the pieces are fine enough not to cause application or removal issues.

I absolutely love these two colors layered together. I think Mosheen really helps to bring out the depth of Poppy Blue. They're both beautiful on their own, but together? A match made in heaven.

What's on your nails this week? Let me know in the comments!
