My Latest Mani: Chanel Charivari

You know those colors that just seem to call out to you from the great beyond? That's how I feel about Chanel Charivari. I stumbled upon this shade while shopping at Nordstrom a few months ago, and it was love at first sight.

Charivari is a rich mauve/plum hybrid. It's one of those shades that changes depending on the light -- sometimes it looks like chocolate, other times it looks like wine. But always? It looks DIVINE. The formula is creamy, glossy and completely opaque in two coats.

This polish is actually what I always WANT Paradoxal to be. Paradoxal just always disappoints me because I want it to be more than it ends up being -- I want it to appear on the nails exactly like it looks in the bottle. But Charivari is different. It's sexy, it's chic, it's sophisticated ... it's one of those colors that just makes you keep staring at your nails!
