Tell the Truth: Essie Truth or Flare Nail Polish

I woke up very early this morning -- apparently I was done sleeping at 5:30 -- and figured there was no better time than the present to paint my nails! I've been wanting to try Essie Truth or Flare, one of the colors from the Spring 2014 Hide & Go Chic Collection, for quite some time, and today was the day!

People are calling this a jelly or a jelly-creme, but my bottle was simply a creme. No jelly-like texture or finish with this one. The hue is described by Essie as "vintage blue denim" and I think they're pretty spot on. It's a dusky greyish cornflower blue hybrid that applies perfectly opaque in two coats. No smudges (except the ones I gave myself because I was too impatient to wait for them to dry completely before getting in my car), no streaks, no dragging.

I'm really loving the color -- I think it's a bit more suited to fall than spring/summer, but I'm definitely adding it to my permanent collection. What do you think of Truth or Flare?
