For starters, the shade is uber chic. It's rich and highly pigmented, and so dark green it's almost black -- but still leans way more on the green side. God knows I love my jades, too (like OPI Jade Is The New Black, for example, which I will never tire of) ... but once in awhile, I just really want a shade that feels a bit more on the vampy side. Billionaire, with its slightly mossy hue, definitely delivers.
One coat actually applied very pale and patchy, but two? Utter perfection. And while I finished with a coat of Seche Vite, this color is actually so glossy that a top coat really isn't even needed.
This color is so perfect for a fall manicure on short, rounded nails. Now my only caveat is to actually BECOME a billionaire.
Deborah Lippmann Billionaire retails for $18 at beauty.com.
