This color is from the Essie Fall 2014 Dress To Kilt Collection. True to form, Essie knocked it out of the park once again with this gorgeous shade! The whole collection is stunning and full of colors that are absolutely perfect for the changing temperatures -- but when I looked at my stash of untrieds last night, this is the one that called my name.
The color is that elusive shade of rich yet dusky green that just commands attention. It does seem to pull a little darker on me than in swatches I've seen online. The formula on this one was PERFECT -- thick but not gloppy, gliding onto the nail so smoothly and effortlessly. One coat provided ample coverage, though I went with my normal two. It's so glossy you could probably even get away without top coat!
While I'm not really too excited about fall (and the onset of winter), this nail polish definitely helps me see the light.
