This is a color I pondered for quite some time before purchasing. I ended up getting it on Birchbox with my points (thank goodness for those awesome things!) and finally got around to using it this weekend. (I think I had it sitting in my stash for a good three months. Oops.)
Rolling in the Deep is a deep (well, obviously), DEEP navy. It's got a crelly-like finish with some very subtle (and I mean almost hidden) silver shimmer within the formula. The shimmer is the most visible in coat one, but it's also a bit patchy unless you layer three thin coats, so sadly the shimmer all but disappears unless you look EXTREMELY closely. In examining my nails in bright light, I can JUST see the shimmer peeking through.

That's not to say I don't love the color, however! It really is a gorgeous navy, and the added subtle shimmer just gives it more depth than a creme. I just wish the shimmer that you see in the bottle translated more to the nail. Also, please pardon the horrible sore on my ring finger -- darn you winter and the cracked and peeling skin you leave behind!

While the shimmer may have fallen into the depths of this polish (see what I did there?), I'm still glad I picked it up. It's one that will look beautiful in my collection for sure!
What's on your nails right now? Let me know in the comments!
