Oldie but Goodie: Rescue Beauty Lounge Scrangie Nail Polish

One of my all-time favorite nail polish colors is Rescue Beauty Lounge Scrangie. I snapped this color up when it was first available in 2009 and haven't looked back since.

Scrangie is one of those colors I go back to again and again (and again) ... every time I need a little pick me up, it's right there waiting for me. Scrangie is one of the colors from the Rescue Beauty Lounge Blogger Collection and was designed by RBL founder Ji in conjunction with blogger extraordinaire, Scrangie. The color is described as a medium blue-based purple shot through with green iridescent microshimmer. However, to me this has always looked like violet with blue shimmer. In any case, it's G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S, is it not? Scrangie is just one of those colors that makes you keep staring at your nails throughout the day because it's just that good. I fluctuate between using two or three coats depending on how opaque I want it to be -- this time, I used three.

There are some nail polishes that just make you squeal with joy, and Scrangie is one of mine. I'm actually a little incredulous that I've only featured it on The Beauty of Life once before (check out the awesome half moon manicure I had done with it here).

Sadly, this color was limited edition and is no longer available. But if you're lucky enough to get your hands on a bottle, take my word for it and DO IT.
