My Current Beauty Product Favorites

Living Proof, butter LONDON and Kiehl's were furnished by PR representatives for potential consideration. Clinique, Urban Decay and CND were purchased by me.
So I try a LOT of beauty products. And it's tough sometimes to stick to the same ones, even if I love them ... because there are just so many more where those came from! But every once in awhile, there's a product so good that I just can't help but go back to it again and again. Right now, these are the products I'm loving.

Truth be told, I don't usually wear eyeliner. But I made an exception for my Halloween costume this year ...

Pretty sure this was my greatest Halloween costume ever.
Yes, I went as Liza Minnelli. How could I not, since I own that sequined top? In any case, Liza's eye makeup is both notorious and time consuming to apply ... and I used a fair amount of this black eyeliner to recreate it! The liner is super creamy and applies like a dream ... not to mention it stays in place NO MATTER WHAT. Seriously, it didn't budge all night!

CND Speedey Top Coat
So I am a diehard fan (read: addicted) of Seche Vite. But on my most recent trip to Ulta, IT WAS NOWHERE TO BE FOUND. The intense panic set in, and then I realized that multiple manicurists have preached the incredibleness of Speedey to me over the years. So I calmed down, picked up a bottle and decided I'd see how it stacked up. Well, here's the thing -- I LIKE IT MORE. It keeps my nails glossy, they chip less quickly, and -- the best part -- it doesn't get thick if you don't use it up right away like Seche Vite tends to. The consistency almost feels like drying drops, and nails are completely dry within 5 minutes.

Clinique Moisture Surge Intense Skin Fortifying Hydrator
Okay, so I'm going to tell you something. Since I have a small tub of this, I totally thought it was an eye cream. I forgot that I got it as a free Sephora VIB perk awhile back and just assumed it was an eye cream due to its smaller size. But the good thing is, my under-eye area has been looking remarkably plumped and refreshed as of late, due to my applying this there! I love the formula -- it's rich and lush, and it sinks into skin immediately upon contact. And now that I've finally realized it's a moisturizer, you'd better believe I'm going to start applying it all over my face instead of just under my eyes.

Kiehl's Super Multi-Corrective Cream Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 30
I've been fairly obsessed with the original version of this moisturizer since 2013. And now I have a new version to love, thanks to the inclusion of SPF 30! The formula is just as lovely and lush as the original, and my skin feels unbelievably hydrated after every single use. I've been suffering from drier skin since moving to LA, and applying this every morning has definitely made a huge difference in returning it to its normal baby soft texture.

Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Night Cap Overnight Perfector, beauty product favorites, hair treatment
Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Night Cap Overnight Perfector
Ever since I went blonde, my hair is pretty much dead. Even though my stylist and I tried to color it as safely as possible -- we never bleached, we waited a long time in between treatments -- the texture still changed and a lot of my hair broke off into (thankfully even) layers. I've been trying everything I can think of to bring life back to it, so I'm glad I discovered this miracle worker. Even a couple nights working it into my tresses made a HUGE difference in making it healthy and happy. 3-4 pumps are enough to cover my hair from root to tip, and I'm impressed that it doesn't leave my strands looking or feeling greasy. Plus, the light floral scent is delightful.

Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette
This. Palette. Is. EVERYTHING. I am so in love with every single color (although I've only used a couple of them so far). Urban Decay eyeshadows are just so wonderfully pigmented, and come on -- there's nothing wrong with a little sparkle every now and then.

  1. What a great list of favorites! I can't believe you just said the CND Speedy is your new favorite topcoat! I was staring at it last week during the Ulta sale because Bailey had said how much she likes it. I love SV but it chips and gets thick in the bottle, but I've been using it along with Barielle No Chip Speed Dry that prevents chipping better than SV. But I'd prefer to use one product rather than 2! butterLONDON Wink eyeliner is one of my two fave black eyeliner pencils, and I've loved Moisture Surge for years.

  8. I love your list of favorites even though I only have that Kiehl's SPF moisturizer. I do have the UD but the question is where? Like you said, we have a lot of things.
